Cannot get help with AT&T 1800.288.2020 or Chat to fix the internet timeout

Cannot get help with AT&T 1800.288.2020 or Chat to fix the internet timeout.

First tried to use the online chat which direct me to a webpage to troubleshoot the connection. As expected it didn't find any error and have an option to restart gateway. Proceed with the restart didn't help the issue. 

 

Call 1800.288.2020, the system need my account number to connect to a live agent. No matter I spoke my account number or use the keypad to key in the information. The system will not find my account and disconnect me.

I am having the same issue. My internet and tv are not working I have been sitting here for over an hour trying to reset. I keep calling and they say they can't pull up my information with my account number or phone number. This is so frustrating.
