Bill increased by $20

My AT&T internet bill rose by $20 for no reason. It says there are monthly charges that caused this change, but I have no idea why it happened. Background: I just got my AT&T internet about a year ago. Any ideas about this increase? Any help is appreciated, thanks.

There was a price increase (annual) of $5 on everyone's internet.

Most likely the other increase was from a discount you got for 12 months and has now expired.  A deep dive into this recent bill and an older bill should give you some insight.

What speed tier subscribed to?

For internet 75 or lower there is a 1T data, if exceed the cap the overage charges are $10/50G up to $100 per month.

If this is the issue and expect continued high usage charges can subscribe to unlimited for extra $30 per month instead of potentially higher charges of $40 to $100 per month.

If customers would just do a line-by-line comparison, they could figure out where and why an increase happened.
