20 years with Direct TV and no solution for tripling the price of slow Internet service

I have been with Direct TV for 20 years and have to call every six months to recreate a new contract because of their price increases (Very time consuming,) , They added ATT internet at at a $18.95 per month rate which was a good price. The service didn't work fast and I wasn't too concerned as I didn't use it much. Well 6 months later the internet fees were $60.00 per month as their usual increase I continued to pay it, but then I ask for a faster service and they sent someone out that added 2 extenders for $100. They didn't work. I ask for a refund on the extenders and was told I couldn't return them. At that time I needed faster service and it wasn't available with ATT. I was upset that I couldn't get a credit and I had paid for faster service for months. I changed to spectrum and now have the speed I need for $40. per month. When I called to try and resolve the problems with Direct/Att, I did not receive a credit for the slow service or any of the time I wasn't using the service and Helen wasn't helping with anything. So far our 20 year service hasn't ended to well. Well I still need to get a refund or a legit price reduction on my service and return my equipment just incase I do return to the Direct TV service. Please contact me at (Edited as per community guidelines). Bill

This is a customer to customer forum, not customer support. No one from ATT is going to contact you from your post here.

@sandblaster My problem has been resolved. I received a credit on the account and information how to return the equipment at no cost to me. I'm now content with doing business in the future. My only thing now is 6 months price increases that has to be renegotiated and the time it takes to do so which is approximately 45 minutes. Bill
