It's understandable that you feel frustrated and disrespected by the guy who came to your door despite the No Soliciting sign posted on your door. While it's possible that he was just trying to do his job, it's important to remember that you have the right to set boundaries and feel safe in your own home. It's not appropriate for someone to disregard your wishes and continue to pursue a conversation after you've made it clear that you're not interested. If this happens again, you might consider calling the police non-emergency line to report the incident and seek further advice on how to handle the situation.
