Rewards Not as promised.
To Whom It May Concern:
As you review the chat transcript you will see what I was promised for choosing ATT. Initially I only wanted the internet service where I streamed my tv through Hulu. Luis however, enticed me with the $350 visa card offers.
By May 10 and I had received no information. The reward center website did not recognize me so I called. After 55 minutes of being on hold I got to a rep. She did the research and said that I was only eligible for $100 reward because the promo was no longer valid. But as you see below, that is not the contractual agreement by which we enter into a relationship.
So, I asked to speak with a supervisor. She transferred me to Samantha who was super helpful. She has indicated that she would put these through and that I would receive 3 individual $100 cards and an additional $50 for a total of 4 different cards. Samantha was very kind and I hope that in the next three weeks I will receive what was promised. However, what I received on May 21 is four $50 cards for a total of $200. That is $150 less than our agreement.
When do you anticipate that I will receive the final $150 promised?

This forum is comprised of customers to communicate with other customers to offer advice and share experiences same as any other user. This is a public forum. Although there is a small team of customer care specialists that monitor the forums the sheer volume of posts are simply too many posts for these agents to respond to each one of them

This exact thing happened to me a few weeks ago. I switched from Comcast to AT&T because there was a promo going on that promised THREE gift cards, a $200, a $100 AND a $50. One was for ordering the bundle tv and internet, one for going "paperless", and I believe the other for setting up automatic payment. Anyway, the total was $350 but when I called to inquire the person I spoke to said it was only $200, but the email they sent to redeem my reward was only for a $100 card. That's less than 1/3 of the original "bait".
