Possible sign of AT&T aerial fiber install soon?
Hi,
I was on a bike ride in my neighborhood, I have seen these little anchors near telephone poles pop up in certain areas, they are all spray painted a very bright pink color
, this one in the picture was near an existing AT&T fiber line that is active, I am wondering. Does this mean AT&T fiber is expanding towards my area/home? My house is not too far from where this anchor is.

Ultimately the answer is Maybe. You can find more information by viewing our article that covers When Fiber May Be Available.
In regard to the anchors, marking locations is a best practice for most outside crews. They are used to mark an area where a gas line may be or even a water line. On the other side, it could mean AT&T is going to place cable. Until cable and everything that powers internet is placed, our internal systems will not be updated.
In the meantime, you can fill out a Notify Me request to be notified when Fiber is available in your area.
