need help ASAP getting address loaded into your system so that I can order service
hello,
I have inquired almost a month ago about getting my new construction address loaded into the ATT system so that I can pay them for home Fiber internet service. I know for a fact that my next-door neighbor to my right side, has ATT Fiber service currently and my neighbor across the street has it as well. So this isnt an issue of there is no fiber on my road. This is an issue that no one can seem to get my address loaded, so I can become a subscriber. I need an actual Fiber service so that I can effectively work from home. HELP!!!

You called ATT a month ago with request for an Address Validation?
If yes, should have been a case number for reference when inquiring on status.
Engineering verifies facilities are available for services, then turns the address green for ordering.
If facilities are missing (no fiber terminal for your address) or damaged (bad section of fiber) the issue would need to be resolved first.
Missing equipment can take up to 3 months based upon information from this time last year when ATT fell 400,000 addresses short of the planned 3 million during 2021 only able to complete 2.6 million.

In a preview of its year-end 2021 results, AT&T revealed it added 270,000 fiber subscribers in Q4 and around 1 million for the full year. The former figure was down slightly from 273,000 in Q4 2020. AT&T added 1.06 million fiber subs for the full year 2020. The company ended 2021 with 2.6 million new fiber locations, falling short of its original 3 million location target but beating its revised forecast of 2.5 million locations.

@my thoughts yes I called in and that telesales person submitted a validation at that time. He did not provide me with that number at this time.
But it also seems like the install teams would send people out to verify the address and what is or is not missing at my address. But still not getting any traction at this time. That is the help im needing. More so then just understanding what or why. I am just needing results.

Hi mbquart911, we'd be glad to assist you with getting AT&T Internet.
Is the address for your new construction already in the U.S. postal system? Our systems tie into theirs to show that your house exists. AT&T doesn't perform this. You have to go to the USPS with supporting documentation. Just contact your local post office to determine what you need.
Learn more about how to get AT&T Internet to your home here in the Forums. The section titled Other things to know about new builds is specific to your situation.
If you have any other questions, let us know.

@ATTHelp I just read that post that you mentioned. As it makes sense in the big picture, as I requested to have my address added a month ago. Since the Post office does recognize my house number. What is the next step? I would think that such a large company like ATT, they can have some type of install team or verification team check the local area and see what is or is not missing. But you would think that once the address goes "GREEN", then when they schedule the install to happen, that install team would start the process or getting my house taken care of.

I'm also having this same issue except my home has been here longer than I've been alive. I've spoke to many of the neighbors and they currently have at&t and I've been dealing with this for over a year now. I'm very frustrated about this because I also work from home and I can't do it currently at my actual home. So any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
