MIS available, but not shared fiber
I have AT&T fiber available in the building. It is MIS/dedicated with AT&T. It is too expensive. I want to change it to regular business fiber, which is a fraction of the cost. The infrastructure is already there, fiber service is already there, but when searching on the website, it states that service at location is still not available even though we are using the higher priced service with AT&T. I was told that the shared node is not close. Can I install a shared node?

A shared node means the neighborhood from 60 to 800 addresses have been wired for fiber. A PFP with splitters (32 on GPON, 64 on XSGPON) is shared.
You have a dedicated fiber line, cannot change to Shared unless ATT updates everybody. Are you willing to pay say $3000 per address for everybody to be updated?

Can a business pay for a fiber line to extend it from a shared node to the business location? Is there a map of shared nodes?
