How to get fiber when next door neighbor has it

I moved into a new construction house and the utility poles in-between that feed my neighbor behind me and my house have AT&T.  The neighbor behind me has available fiber and I do not.  Their house is older and mine is a new build.  How can I request access to Fiber internet?  We get our power and internet from the same exact source.

Address Validation Case needs to be opened… will likely take several weeks to be validated then more time before installation occurs.

Here is one person experience from a few years ago

I have ATT service but its internet 50.  The above ground utilities for my house and the neighbors come from the same pole, so I don't know why I wouldnt be offered fiber.

Submit the address validation. Check to see if homes on your left and right have fiber service available. If they do, include that in the address validation. A home behind you having fiber does not matter. Especially if it’s a different street.
