Fiber Optic HOA
We have 79 homes in our subdivision/HOA however some of the homes apparently can order fiber optic Internet and some of the others cannot within about a mile radius if that. I am thinking that some of those homes really have the service available but it is not showing for all of us to order. Is there anything you can do to help?

You can submit the request via their online form. Remember it can take weeks to get an answer as their scheduled work and maintenance takes priority.

If you have a home that cannot order, but the two addresses on either side can, that would likely be a database issue needing correction.
If you have an entire street that cannot order, not likely an address issue but outside the planned deployment.
Subdivision built in phases May have one section upgraded while other sections may not be…
You can check the neighborhood for upgraded equipment, aerial on the pole is easy to spot fiber while buried services means digging / boring with new pedestal and / or hand holes being placed. The latter takes a longer time and something I would expect homeowners would know if occurring or not.
In my observations, the larger the lot sizes, distance between homes … the less likely fiber will be provided. Think population density… more dense is more housing units per mile… as distance increases the cost to provide service to each address also increases. With limited annual budget the primary objective appears to be provide the most addresses with fiber for lowest possible cost… this is why in our area older neighborhoods with smaller lots (more per block) AND aerial pole mounted fiber is where most deployment is happening after all the new construction developments of apartment / condo complexes and single family greenfield homes.
Just my thoughts…

I am hoping rather than call someone on here can help from AT&T & check the address since I do think it’s an error. I worked for AT&T for yrs and just hoping to find out for sure. Believe it or not I understand what you wrote just hoping to actually reach someone that knows for sure and can help fix the addresses if it’s really here

Well I’m not sure that firm works if you have some service just not the fiber?

The online form or calling are your options to request an address validation. This forum is not a replacement for dealing with customer support. They want their help to be live, with very limited online request options.
