Fiber availability at my address?

ATT fiber is available at every address around me but mine. I think I know what the issue is, but I've contacted ATT and they have not contacted me back about it. About 2 years ago we got a notice that ATT was installing fiber as well. I think the issue is we live on a 600ft private driveway. There are only 2 dwellings on the private drive however one dwelling has the address of the road where fiber runs down it. Fiber is available across the street as well as addresses adjacent to our property. I currently have U-verse internet and, in fact, ATT has had to move the copper twice to two different sides of our property because of failures. It would seem logical to me that ATT would rather run fiber instead of fixing copper, IDK. But I really wish I could get the higher speed fiber connection. Not only am I looking for better speeds, but also better latency. U-verse Internet, albeit stable right now has some high latently issues.

It's been a little while on this subject about Fiber at my address. I've not heard back from anyone at ATT. Just checking in to see if anyone has had a chance to look into this.

Did you ever chat with an AT&T rep using the DM chat tool last month?

Next does the other address on your private drive qualify for AT&T Fiber. You can check using this link: https://www.att.com/internet/availability/

Did AT&T ask you to complete an Address Validation Request: https://www.att.com/shop/unified/availability/address-research-request.html

It looks like your address was skipped due to the distance to your dwelling from the main road. Do you have underground utilities or overhead utilities with Poles all the way to your dwelling?

Dave,

Chat was left here:

"Thank you for your patience. Upon further review it shows that you currently have an open ticket for your address. There is currently no ETA on when it will be completed. Feel free to reach back out to get updates in the future. Thank you for visiting the AT&T Community Forums!"

1. The other address does not qualify either.

2. I just used the link you provided and filled out the form and submitted it.

3. There would be no obstructions in the way for fiber. AT&T Contractor/installer can use existing location of buried Copper that supplies Uverse internet. In fact, I've had ATT replace the copper cabling several times do to failure over the years. The last time I had them relocate cable to a different location on property, which would be the same location for Fiber. ATT has always came out to locate existing utilities/underground cabling before installing new copper.

4. I've been an ATT Uverse customer for more than 10 years. So as you can see I'm very interested in getting ATT Fiber to replace the old copper VDSL bonded technology. :)

Thanks again for your reply!
