Under the current fiber plans there are no contracts so no 12 month period.  These aren't "promo prices" so they don't automatically go up after a period of time.

Of course that doesn't mean that AT&T won't raise prices down the road, it's just not a given that it will happen at a certain point.

My 12 month just ended and the price went up $15 immediately.  Know this before you change to AT&T.  I called retention and they want me to go down to a lower speed for just a $5 savings.  Ridiculous.  I'm thinking of going to Comcast.  AT&T's favorite competitor.

Of course it went up immediately. That’s what you agreed to after 12 months.

I didn't sign a contract nor a 12-month agreement because there is no contract.  The price was quoted to me as the monthly quote and the rep didn't say "it's going to go up after 12 months".  So where did I agree to the price would go up immediately?

Look at your past bills. Should be clearly stated what discounts you had and when they expired.

A year ago promos still existed for new customers.  If you look at your new bill and the last (cheaper) bill it should show you the difference.  Was there a discount subtracted from your Internet service for those 12 months?

Sorry to step on you, @browndk26 didn't see your post when I began mine.
