AT&T Fiber, Where art thou?
I've been checking periodically as to when Fiber Internet will be available in my area and its been over two years now, still with no availability. At my last address I had Fiber and it was the greatest internet I ever had. You guys tell the truth and deliver a solid product. I have been getting absolutely reamed by Xfinity for the past two years paying almost $190 a month for 1200/35 speeds. Which in reality is usually more like 500/30 speeds, hard wired.
I am desperate. Xfinity is the shadiest, most blood-sucking leech of company I've ever done business with. Before I moved here I enjoyed your glorious fiber internet paying an extremely fair monthly amount of $60 or so. Now I am stuck here, controlled by the Xfinity Regime.

Stuck in what zip code?
Is any ATT internet speed available at your address?
If yes, what speed tier is listed?
ATT hardwired internet is available in 100+ markets within selected areas of 21 states.
Of estimated 60+ million Uverse platform hardwired addresses the stated goal is to provide half of them with ATT Fiber which is the renamed Uverse GigaPower (December 2016). That would be 30+ million by end of 2025. As of June 2023 there was 25+ million addresses with FTTP availability and only 8+ million fiber subscribers…. There are a lot of addresses out there with FTTP service waiting for someone to order the service.
With a little over 2 years left of current 10 year fiber buildout, 5 million to be added out of estimated 35+ million waiting, your best and fastest method to have desired service is relocation to the address where availability exists.

Sorry I should have included that, zip code is 33196, Miami-Dade When I do the availability search on AT&T website it simply says "AT&T Internet is not available at your address." Does that function search Fiber & Internet availability?
Thank you for the reply

Looks like theirs a 96% AT&T Fiber coverage in my area, I just fall into the 4%. I typed in a neighbors address about 100 yards away and they have fiber.

Hi @kdubbin, thank you for reaching us. We're glad to assist.
Here are some reasons why fiber may not be available in your area:
Note: In order to get higher speeds, you must be within a certain distance of the serving equipment, or the equipment must be present in the area. Points 1 and 2 apply in these scenarios. If internet is not available, there are other options.
If you believe it should be available in your area, but it doesn't show up when you try to order service, you can fill out an address research request. Just fill out the form, we'll look into it and get back to you!
Finally, we recommend signing up for fiber notifications. When fiber is available in your area, we'll let you know!
Please feel free to reach out to us for further assistance.

https://broadbandnow.com/Florida/Miami?zip=33196
only shows 65% availability out of combined Fiber and IPBB services.
IPBB is ATT Internet of xDSL deployed from 2006 to end 2015.
Fiber is FTTP being deployed since 2016 at average rate of 3 million per year, or 5% of entire 21 state footprint each year.
edit…
https://broadbandnow.com/ATT
while older map (likely about 1 year out of date)
does not show much west of the airport but some northwest up by 88…
click on map
select fiber
zoom in to desired area.
