At&t Fiber wanted
Everyone in my area has At&t Fiber except my street. We are surrounded by At&t fiber. We were told 3 yrs ago that it would be a couple of months and we are still waiting. There is no phone number to call to check. We would like some help as to who to contact.

You can call them:
800-288-2020
Just be sure to say that you are calling about AT&T Fiber when the robot asks for the service.

What shows as available at your address when you use this link:
https://www.att.com/availability
Don't waste your time calling 1-800-288-2020 as they have no information on any currently active or planned Fiber rollout.
Do you happen to be on a Mixed use street or is it all residential?

Street nearest major intersection with zip code?
Aerial or ground terminals?
Pics if suspect fiber connections?

There are several pockets in your area without fiber, fiber is to your north and west but not much east heading to the airport in your direction.

Click on the map, choose fiber lower left side then zoom in to your area.

There is no contact that can provide you a specific answer. That's why AT&T and other ISPs never commit to a specific date or schedule. It really sounds you got a bad answer 3 years ago as no AT&T line employee is allowed to provide that level of detail or commitment as many things may change or impact any planned or future expansions.
All Fiber areas have a limit. Each Fiber service area is planned with what is know as a light budget. This determine show many customer over a specific area will qualify for Fiber service.
Normally most Fiber service areas stop at a cross-street intersection. Again it would be helpful to know what AT&T services are currently available at your address if any.
As @my thoughts asked above it would also be helpful to know if your utilities are aerial or buried service. It will not help you get service or a specific answer today as that type of information is AT&T Internal information only.
In some area the Fiber service stops in the middle of a block or on one side of a street again due to the planned install light budget. Each Fiber service area can't just be added like an extension from one street to another it has to stop somewhere.

We can check our system to determine if your home is eligible for Fiber, hunte567.
Thank you, my thoughts and dave006 for the helpful information! There are several factors that come into play that determine Fiber eligibility, as dave006 mentioned. However, we can do a thorough check just to be sure.
We'll be sending you a Direct Message to get started. Look for the chat icon next to the bell icon in the upper right corner of the Forums page.
