Att Fiber optic now at the head of subdivision who do I need to talk to to get it into subdivision.
I have been told in the past that we lived about 1000 yards too far from sub station to have U-verse. They have recently installed a new Cellular tower on the main road and looks like they have stubbed out connections on the power pole that feeds our subdivision. I will sign up for the fastest internet I can get. Please help it is 2023 and the fastest Internet I can get is 8Mps. They say I need to talk to engineer to get this rolling.
Thanks,
Bradley

We understand the desire to have the fastest Internet speeds possible, drdyer9051.
One key thing to keep in mind is that AT&T Internet is a distance-dependent service. If you're too far away from the equipment, certain services may not be available, which may be the case here. Sadly, we don't have the ability to tell you if or when Fiber will be expanded to your area.
For more information about Fiber availability, we recommend visiting our article that discusses AT&T Internet availability and your home in greater detail. You'll learn about why Fiber may not be available at the moment and how to be notified if/when it's available in the future.
If you have more questions about Fiber availability or anything else, just let us know.
