AT&T Fiber Availability

The AT&T fiber availability tool indicates the service IS NOT available at my address, but IS available about 600 ft or less down the street. Coverage maps such as those provided by BroadbandNow indicate the service is available in my entire neighborhood (including my address). Seems as if the service SHOULD be available at my address, but I'm having a difficult time determining this through the normal support channels. Is there some sort of assessment process for those of use who may be on the fringe of a service area?

How about the 2 addresses on either side of your address do they qualify? Do you happen to live in an Apt Building (MDU) vs a single unit dwelling?

Do you have aerial or buried utilities? And finally do you live in new construction while the addresses down the street have been built for a period of time?

Next is there a cross street between your address and where Fiber Service is available down the street? Fiber Service areas tend to end at street corners.

Coverage maps such as those provided by BroadbandNow indicate the service is available in my entire neighborhood

Those Open Source coverage maps use a variety of data that may not be accurate or near real-time.

No on the two addresses on either side. Buried utilities. Yes, there is a cross street.

Well where does Fiber availability actually stop on your street?

It’s not on my street as I’m in a cul-de-sac. I think you misinterpreted my previous message when I say down the street I mean on the next cross street.
