AT&T Brad Campbell/Crawford Door to Door Solicitation

Cocky, arrogant, salesman named Brad Crawford,  joined by 2 minions at my door twice this week in Boise. When I asked them to cross the address off their list he told me to put up a no soliciting sign.

I shouldn't have to put a sign on my door to keep (Edited per community guidelines) like him from coming back.

I will never do business with AT&T  as a result of this guy.

We also had to tell them three times to leave.

If he's a wandering salesman, then in all likelihood he works for an authorized reseller, not AT&T.  Shirt with logo and/or badge not withstanding.  Unfortunately, AT&T doesn't keep a short enough leash on their resellers.

My hope is the company will hear it enough that they'll realize it's a disservice to their brand and company.

That won't happen. Resellers are probably a good source of income for AT&T and they are not AT&T employees. As such they will promise just about anything to make a sale and then leave the customer to deal with AT&T if something isn't right. We have a No Solicitors sign up on our front porch but they are not legally binding, at least not in our area, so it is mostly a courtesy that we hope door-to-door sales people honor (most don't).

He came to my door yesterday, and my wife turned him away. He was back today and I spoke with him at length.  It just seems off to have an AT&T representative (even if they don't work for AT&T) knowing door to door.  I called AT&T off a number that I looked up on my own hone and they were able to provide an ID number that he was able to verify on his tablet. In the end it just felt off/wrong. So I turned them away.

When I signed for (what was at the time) Uverse I did so with a D2D rep and that was in 2007 so this has been the norm for over 15 years.

Perhaps tactics have changed or maybe you just encountered a more aggressive rep.  In the meantime, post a "NO SOLICITING" sign.  You can just grunt and point.   This one can be effective:
