Trying to get fiber installed at my new house
We have been waiting for someone to come install fiber internet in our new home for three weeks now. On May 15, 2023 I went into our local AT&T and we scheduled installation for the 18th. The technician never showed up and never called. We contacted him hours after he was supposed to be here and he said that because it was then about to rain he could not come. We rescheduled for the next day, May 19th at 8am. He showed up at 10:30 and told us we didnt have a hand hole and couldnt do anything. He said he would be scheduling someone to come dig one. We never heard anything else after he left this day. The following Monday we went back to the local AT&T to see any updates. They scheduled a new technician to come out on May 25. On this day, May 25, 2023, we never got a call and the technician never showed up again. On May 29, I went back to our local AT&T and the employees insisted that they could not do anything and requested we call the customer service number. We called this number and spoke with a man named Binu. He told me they would send someone to our home within that week and said he pushed our account on a priority list. We never heard a single thing. Not a technician, not a call, nothing. We have now been in our new home for almost a month without any Wi-Fi. We have been trying to get answers for weeks with no progression. My family is very frustrated with the service, or lack there of that we have received thus far from AT&T.
