Scheduled to upgrade my current 100mb to 1000mb and had a question about installing Ethernet ports

So I am scheduled to have my gigabit upgrade installed this next week. Currently I run the standard 100mb plan but the wireless connections (and some direct ones) have gone down hill. So to combat this, I was hoping the installer could install drop ports at 3 locations in my house. Or if this was even an option.

I tried to get the customer service and tech support people during my order to give me an idea if this was an option and how much it might cost.

Neither knew and referred me to speak with installer.

Has anyone had ethernet ports installed by AT&T and if so, was it difficult? Costly?
Is there anything I can do to help with this process short of trying to do it myself?

Thanks for that. And I can appreciate the hours concern.
I'm not looking to add more time than necessary. I was wondering if it was an option since it's just an upgrade to service not a new service.
Thanks for the feedback.
