Request ATT Fibre in existing single family home community
Hi,
We live in Evergreen area of San Jose, Zip code 95135. Only service for internet we currently have is xfinity and we would like to have AT&T fibre service instead.
Currently the fastest speed available to us is 100mbps which is not enough given we have several security cameras and streaming devices.
The street behind us (Pinot Blanc) has the att fibre but not our street (Linkfield Way off Delta Rd). Can you please help get us the service?

We understand your desire to have the fastest Internet speed possible, aruna9.
One key thing to keep in mind is that AT&T Internet is a distance-dependent service. If you're too far away from the equipment, certain services may not be available, which could explain why homes in the surrounding area have Fiber, but yours doesn't. It's likely that Fiber wasn't expanded to your home, and sadly, we don't have the ability to tell you if or when it will be.

@aruna9 We lived not too far away from Linkfield for over 30 years. AT&T kept telling us that fiber was a possibility but it never happened, and I doubt if it ever will. Pinot Blanc is a more recent development than Linkfield so whatever contracts were made between AT&T and the developer for the Pinot Blanc area were not made for Linkfield during its development phase.
You might want to look into Sonic.net and see if they offer anything in your area.
