Private Dirt Road
A temp cable has been placed in the ditch for future burial from the corner of Novatan Road N and Hidden Place to a pole marked 11385 (around 600) ft.. Hidden Place is a private road and requires regular Maintenance (grading and ditch work). Why can't this cable be ran over head like other cables serving other persons living on Hidden Place?

Nobody here can answer that question. We are all customers. Call your local public works department or city hall for them to investigate.

Is the initial location the temp cable coming from underground or overhead?
In other words is the wiring going from a pole, down the pole, in the ditch to another pole?
As you mention going to the pole instead of to a home… I suspect this is underground wiring on the main road and going to the pole will allow line up the pole and to the intended service down the private drive.

Its coming down tha pole then up the ditch to a connector box on another pole
