Pre-wiring for ATT Fiber Internet
My house has an existing NID box attached to an exterior wall, near the electric meter. If I am to sign up for ATT Internet with Self-Installation promo, does that mean I will also be responsible to connect the NID to the ONT box? Or is the self-installation only pertains to connecting from ONT onwards?
Does ATT provide an ONT and a Gateway equipment?

This will be a Full Tech Install.... depending on where the drop is coming from expect the tech on site for 2 to 4 hours...
Tech will need to place fiber drop, possible a fiber NID, inside fiber run, install ONT and gateway. May be combined unit (320) or 2 separate units such as 010 ONT and 210 gateway.

Self install is connecting the ONT to the gateway. Is your home eligible for fiber service? Is there an ONT installed already?
If no ONT, you’ll need a full install.

I have confirmed that my area has ATT Fiber service. There is no ONT installed inside the house.
If I could pre-wire the house to have the fiber optic to connect from NID to where I would like to place my ONT device, can I just ask ATT to ship me a new ONT box with the other necessary equipment during the sign up?
