I NEED HELP IN HAVING MY FIBER OPTICS LINE INSTALLED - INSTALLER STAYS FOR 15 MINUES AND LEAVES
Since September, I have scheduled installation of the high-speed internet service to my U-verse subscription twice. Ifallibly, the installer comes and finds an obstacle to the installation - all the time its a neughbor that is not at home or something placed against a pole. End result, installer leaves without installing and I immediately get a text message to reschedule. This routine is promising to repeat itself over and over ad infinitum.
I talked with customer service explaining my problem and the supervisor game me his word that he would take care of it by having someone check to see that access was cleared before the technician arrived. I thought the problem was solved.
But the same sequence of events repeated itself.
I got the message again and a very willing operator on the other end was very willing to reschedule. I told her again what was happening and she responded that that was the only "allowed procedure" that I could follow.
My window of time for being at home for an installation has closed because I have scheduled travels that I cannot postpone or change, much less when there is a 100% certainty that noone has even considered preparing the access beforehand.
I am at a loss and I certainly need help from someone at ATT&T.
