Fiber laid in neighborhood, all but like 15 houses have access
So about a year ago ATT laid fiber in our neighborhood, took about a month. I have been patiently waiting to get it. I have went on the website and looked for availability with no success. My sister lives in the same neighborhood about 4 streets away and she has it now. I have called several times to check and I just keep getting the run around, some have said that the fiber hasn't even been laid on my street, which I know is false, I have a box in my front yard with the wires in it, just not connected. Today I spoke with a rep and she said something about a box that they set up that has ports in it for each house and when the ports get filled then that is it for that area. Doesn't make since to update your infrastructure and not do it for the whole neighborhood. She suggested that I "nominate" my address for an evaluation to get fiber. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas of what I can do to get fiber. Thank you.

I have the same box in my front yard except I have a fiber terminal. For some reason you don't have a terminal/access point for a tech to hook up fiber to your home.
Correct me if I'm wrong @my thoughts
I have a fiber terminal in my front year and lines running down my road all the way to where splicing needs to happen down the main road. It's been two months and I still don't have service yet. They may come back, but nominating your address may help, im not sure though.

I have nominated my address. Thank you.
Why would they go through all the trouble of installing this but not finish up the job? They have done other neighborhoods in my area after mine. Is it possible that they just missed us?

I really don’t know. I would call att to just to see if fiber is coming to your area/address. I did that after I saw them laying lines and this week, they let me know that there is a facility issue that needs to be resolved before fiber is available where I live. It’s a long process but calling may help

I’ve called like 5+ times. No help. Yesterday was the first time they said anything about nominating my address.
