Door to door sales person harrassment
Hello
There is an AT&T representative canvasing my neighborhood. I CLEARLY MARKED my front door NO SOLICITATION.
The representative does not press my ring doorbell - instead she opens my storm door and BEATS ON MY FRONT DOOR making my dogs bark and howl.
I work from home several days a week - I do not need this extra noise
When I am not home - I live with a medically fragile person, and we are NOT coming to the door.
THAT IS WHY I PUT UP A SIGN
I want you to STOP THIS IMMEDIATELY
I have spoken to the rep
I pointed at my NO SOLICITING sign and she replied "your doormat says welcome"
My doormat says "oh, hello" it does not say WELCOME
She is NOT welcome
MAKE IT STOP
Or I will file a report with the police and have a trespass warning issued on your representative

Yes, the guy sells AT&T (though if you never came to the door, I'm not sure how you knew).
Yes, the guy may have a shirt with the AT&T logo.
No, the guy isn't employed by AT&T. He works for a company authorized to sell AT&T's services.

This is primarily a customer-to-customer forum so obviously none of us can make this stop. Even the ATTHelp people who wander around in this forum can't make it stop.
Most likely this is a third party company pitching AT&T services to make commissions. Short of figuring out who the company actually is and then finding someone there who actually cares what you want, I don't see any way to stop it.

yep 3rd party sales independently owned and operated and not at&t employees, sort of like the door to door magazine sales, they may sell you a vogue subscription but they have nothing to do with vogue
