Ok, so maybe we should back up a bit now that we know the old router is still installed.

First, let's make sure we're on the right track.  I'm presuming the printer is not connected directly to your computer with a USB cable.

If it's not, then there are two ways to connect it to the network.  Does it have an Ethernet cable going from the printer to one of your routers, or do you only have the one power cord going into the printer?

I'm going to presume it's not wired to one of the routers, which leaves us with a wifi connection.

I'd power off the old router since it's not connected to AT&T any more and can only complicate wifi issues.

On the printer's screen use the up and down arrows to navigate and the OK button to confirm a selection.  First hit the Menu key, then use the down arrow until you see Network, then OK, down arrow to WLAN, then OK, then down arrow to  Setup Wizard then OK.

You should see the names of nearby Wifi networks (the SSID).  Look for the SSID that is on the yellow label on the side of the BGW210 gateway.  Select that SSID and then input the password that is also on that label.  Press Ok and then the up arrow to confirm.

Now, that the printer is connected to your new gateway if it doesn't print you'll need to install the Brother software for it again so it can help Windows find the printer.

Thanks for letting us know, glad you got it working. Looks like @tonydi was correct about no USB between the printer and the PC. 

Actually, it was you, spoom2, who set me on the right path. Having both routers here is still confusing to me but as long as everything seems to be working, I'll live with it. The fax/printer was connected to the computer with a USB cable. When I reinstalled it, I set it up as wireless and it seems to be completely happy.

Have you tried to use the legacy Phone / Fax function of your Brother printer/fax (MFC-L2717DW) if you still need to send / receive "dial up" phone service functions.

Let's beak down your remaining confusion about still having 2 AT&T Gateways up and connected.

That router is BGW210. But I wouldn't think any of that would matter when I'm just trying to print a document that's housed on my computer. But, as I said, I'm clueless.

Your Brother printer/fax (MFC-L2717DW) was connected via USB cable to your computer and you also indicated it was connected to your 1st AT&T Gateway using a VoIP phone line for legacy "dial tone" to send / receive Faxes. That's the small cable plugged into your

When you were upgraded to Fiber does it still include a "dial tone" option in your package for legacy phone service at your location.

If you only need the print function your all set and can just unplug your old AT&T Gateway from the 110v power outlet. Remove the Green RJ11 cable from the wall and the back of the original BGW210-700.

AT&T will want you to return your BGW210-700. Do you know how to return it?

The key question is do you have VoIP phone service on your Fiber service and do you need regular phone dial-tone for legacy phones or to use dial up access for your Fax to send / receive traditional Faxes

It sounds like you had your Brother printer/fax (MFC-L2717DW) plugged into VoIP port 1 on the back of your older BGW210-700 in addition to have having USB and Wi-Fi access to print from local device.

I would not expect any results by calling 611. That's for legacy copper customer and Cellular customers. You would need to call 1-800-288-2020 about VoIP phone installation or other service for phones wired at your location.

I presume you have an Internet connection, right?  If so the fiber is working and there's just the issue of the printer.

It's likely that the printer is still looking for your old network.  What steps have you taken to try and get it working?  Have you told it to connect to the new Wifi SSID and entered the password?  If so, what happened.

The more details you can provide, the easier it will be to help.

As far as the special phone cord I'm not sure what that is all about.  Fiber installs either have a small box called an ONT and that gets connected to the AT&T gateway with an Ethernet cable, or, the fiber comes directly to the AT&T Gateway if you have the BGW320.

Forgive me, but I'm clueless when it comes to any of this. How would I tell it to connect to the new Wifi SSID? By the way, both routers are still connected. The fiber optic router that was just installed is the BGH320.

I ran Windows Network Diagnostics which reported "Your computer appears to be correctly configured, but the device or resource (DNS server) is not responding." I'm running Windows10 if it matters.

I've been able to work successfully on the Internet connection and remotely to the computer at the company office. Just can't get the network to see the printer/fax.

Do you know if there is a way for me to directly contact someone at AT&T to query about this? The AT&T installer connected the fiber and left without giving me any contact info whatsoever.

I'd say follow the installation manual for your fax/printer. The phone line should go to the Line or Line in of the fax. Your actual phone would plug into the phone or Line out of the fax. Has your phone been switch to the new modem, you said it's still plugged into the old and if so, has the phone line been moved. The only reason your fax/printer would need network access is if you have a wireless device, like a laptop, that you also print from. I assume the fax also plugs into a USB port on your computer.
