what is the current firmware version of the bgw210-700?
i'm having a problem with my router intermittently switching between wired and wi-fi. When it switches, I get put on hold on Microsoft Teams calls. I have a Microsoft Surface Book 2 and I've updated the firmware on the dock. I tried a new dock, same problem. I tried a dock from a Surface Book 1, same problem.

FW 3.19.7 is rolling out now, replacing 3.19.4.

So it switches both directions?
I can see some chatter about various Surface and dock versions dropping Ethernet and then wifi just kicking in, but nothing about wifi dropping.
One thing that always seems to work is to use a USB to Ethernet adapter instead of plugging that into the dock.

Hi there, @billnew! We understand the importance of staying connected for your calls, and we want to help figure this out.
We recommend that you start by rebooting your gateway. This can help to refresh your connection and alleviate anything that may be causing the connections to switch on their own. To reboot your gateway manually, follow these steps:
In addition to that, you can sign in to our Troubleshoot & Resolve tool for some more personalized troubleshooting suggestions.
Let us know how it goes!

@ATTHelp I know you have to tell a lot of customer to reboot. Rebooting the router as well as the white box on the wall, has been done many times over the last month durnig testing with two Dock 2s and one Dock 1.
I have 3 PCs (non-Surface) and I have not had the problem. Yes, I am also working with Microsoft.
@tonydi, Great suggestion. I will test that.

I've been having the same issues for weeks, 1-2 minute intermittent drops about a dozen times a day-- obviously makes it difficult to work from home with video calls.
This is almost certainly related to the 4.21.5 update that AT&T pushed out, is @ATTHelp acknowledging this at all? There's a whole other forum on DSL reports related to this firmware update with the same behavior -- https://www.dslreports.com/forum/r33317363-AT-T-Fiber-BGW210-700-firmware-4-21-5~start=210
It seems like it would be easier to have AT&T's Engineering group address the issue instead of the tier 1 support teams replacing devices and addressing the problems individually. Is there an escalation process within AT&T to address the root cause? Or can AT&T can provide us the previous firmware to downgrade and turn off the auto-upgrades to the problematic firmware?
