Using the BGW320-505 Modem/Router with VOIP phones
Considering bundling our AT&T fiber Internet with VOIP. The BGW320-505 has a phone jack in the back along with the other fiber, CAT5 connectors and power jack. Is this phone jack used when upgrading to VOIP through this modem/router if we add the VOIP service? Also, can we use existing telephone equipment (base unit and handsets) with the added VOIP function via this router?

We're here to help get your questions answered, @theritz!
To answer your first question, yes. When setting up VoIP service, the phone jack is going to be used.
As far as using your own equipment for the service, you should be able to do so as long as it is plugged into our gateway.

Does the voip phone gateway connected to the BGW-320 fiber modem still work when the BGW-320 router is configured for passthrough? I am using my own mesh routers and not the BGW for wireless.
