Second 5Ghz Radio disabled on BGW 320-500 & 320-505?!

When i got this unit as replacement for the 210, I was thrilled to see it supported two different networks. Now you folks disabled the second one. Please revert this back to the 3 radio setup I need the three networks because i have one for legacy devices, one for newer and then one setup for my AX/wifi 6 devices. Please revert this immediately.
I am very unhappy when you make uneeded changes. If there is a way to revert this update and prevent future ones, let me know.

@eui6347 I'm not sure I understand what you are saying. Can you clarify what you mean?

So something I've noted, when using a different wifi scanner app on a device that supports AX, I only have a couple that officially support ax. It appears the firmware is hiding one of the radio bands, which is AX, so essentially there's no second radio that appears to be operational, just the first radio that handles 2.4 and 5g 1. It's hiding the AX/wifi 6 one.

For me, both 5GHz radios are visible.  I think yours may be different due to it reserving one 5GHz radio for mesh/extender backhaul.  I don't have any airties.

@jj33tt i have in the past disabled the air ties extenders (unplugged them and pushed power button on back) and then restarted gateway twice and left them unplugged for two days and didn't see my second 5g SSID reappear. So I'm not too terribly sure what's going on other than the firmware being in a cattywampus state.

By cattywampus I of course mean things not operating the way they should/things being disorganized.

An update on this whole issue .

ATT has found a workaround that has at least a 50 percent success rate. Essentially, it's just a power cycle. Except you go into RG UI and tell it to reboot Gateway so that it does a proper shutdown, instead of a dirty shutdown.

@julerobb1 do you mean if we reboot the gateway from UI, it has a chance to restore the functionality of manually setting the two 5g bands?

If I understood the support rep correctly, then yes. But like they said, it's a troubleshooting step, so it has a 50/50 chance of working.

@julerobb1, where did you hear that ? Any screenshots ?

I tried on two different BGW320, none worked for me :/

@Benjamin40 I heard via a chat session with att via social media. This was from an official att employee. So essentially partially directly from the horses mouth. I am not adding a screenshot due to privacy, even with things blacked out they can be in blacked out :)

Ok an update with the 320's and the bugs.  AT&T Engineers are working on a fix, and they firmly believe it will be resolved with the next update to the gateways. They do not have a time schedule other than they believe it will be done soon. I asked the rep if he had a tentative date, and he had to ask his teammates and learned that they have no set date, other than when the engineers finish the fix and it passes internal review. if I can figure out how to post an audio recording i will add what I have from our conversation. I was impressed that I got to a representative as fast as I did, almost immediately after the initial "how can I help you" automated prompts, I was placed on hold for about 5 or so seconds and was with a rep shortly after. I am having the extenders replaced and they should be here either tuesday or Thursday they said. So, fingers crossed they fix the issues.

I intend tomorrow to call in and ask for a 320 specialist.
