Running Ethernet cable directly from access box on side of house.

Hello. Currently, AT & T fiber comes from the power line and enters the service box or whatever the technicians might access. From there, the fiber optic cable runs all the way around the house to where the router is.

That's great and all, but I want to hook my computer up with ethernet and I don't want to drag an ethernet cord through the house.  I could wrap and ethernet cable around the house and to my computer, but that is not preferred. Luckily, the service box is right outside my window(the room where my computer is). Is there any way to open up the service box and plug an ethernet cable directly in? Is this something at & t could install for me?

No that won't work the Ethernet cable plugs into the back of the modem/router. You could move your modem/router to the closer location if there's nothing between the box and your modem or it's not fiber to the modem, there's an ONT someplace either built into the modem with fiber to the modem or fiber to ONT.
