New BGW320 router running slow

My new 320 router is up and running and it was very easy to configure since the interface is identical to the 210's.

However. A speed test from a wired pc to the 320 itself showed 0.23 mbps up and 0.80 down.

The 320's broadband status screen shows the ethernet line up at 10mbps and half duplex. I'm sure the 210 didn't have it that slow.

What's causing this? The ethernet cable from the ONT port to the ONT box is cat 6, so it can handle 1gb speed.

Thanks

EDIT - an ATT tech played with some settings remotely, we rebooted it, and it still shows this 10 mbps speed. @tonydi , might you have any ideas? Or am I wrong with this? I don't have fiber directly to the 320 gateway, but that cat6 cable got 100mbps to my previous 210 router this morning, so why can't the 320 negotiate that speed?

THanks

So

I got home with the intention of doing a factory reset and starting from zero.

I logged in to the router's web interface, and I see that the broadband's ethernet connection is not 1gb and full-duplex.

A speed test in the 900s, confirmed that I'm running faster and better.

Should I still reset for funsicles, or stay as is?
