Looking for a mesh Wi-Fi network compatible with 5268AC-FXN

My U-Verse fiber service came with router/modem 5268AC-FXN. We have some spots in our home that have weak Wi-Fi coverage and I was considering getting a mesh network. Google Nest Wi-Fi and MeshForce replace the current router.

How is it possible to create a mesh Wi-Fi network with my set-up?

Yeesh!  If one set out to design the worst home wifi environment they'd have to work to make it worse than what you have.

Do you currently get acceptable wifi signal in the upstairs room?  If so, then a two device mesh system (one router, one "satellite") may suffice.  If not, you may have to go to a three device setup.

Notice how positive I sound?  That's because wifi is weird and nobody can reliably predict how any system will behave until it's plugged in and tested.  That's why it's important that you buy from some place with a (Edited per community guidelines) and easy to use return policy.

The word l-i-b-e-r-a-l was edited out of our post? :-D

No, we don't currently have good coverage in the upstairs room. Nor in the basement...

This $#&#& forum software is the worst!  It also edits out the L word for attorney, but not the word attorney itself.  I guess they're trying to avoid political "discussions" and also (Edited per community guidelines) (Edited per community guidelines) talk.  ;-)
