Internet shows speeds work well, but doesn't?

Hello,

Doing a speed test on the BGW210-700, you can see that the speeds are where they should be.

I have a third party router, the ASUS RT-3100, which does support 1GB speed.

All is working and the cables do support it.

ONT to BGW210, Cat8 to ASUS RT-3100, Cat7 to my device.

Is there a setting I'm missing on the ASUS or BGW that isn't allowing the speed to go up to it's full potential?

Hi There @Zurovax,

We can help with this.

The best way to work with a 3rd party router behind the AT&T router is IP Passthrough. This forums article will help you step-by-step in the configuration.

Let us know.

The speeds I'm supposed to get for Internet 1000 is around 940. I'm getting around 200-300.

Hello @Zurovax,

When performing a speed-test are you using the AT&T speed-test? if not could you perform a speed-test here and provide us with the results.

Hi @Zurovax,

Your steed test for your internet services, should be tested using only your AT&T equipment gateway and directly hard wired to your router. Are these speed test results a reflection on that?

We look forward to your response.

I'm noticing the same issue on my end.  NVG599.  Running speed test while hardwired directly to gateway, my downloads are around 2-300mbps, but upload is 950mbps.
