Internet fiber dropping intermittently Miami 33165
It is happening at my home and my neighbor home , so it is not my router. I’ve called att customer service several times. Always resetting the router but never accepting there is an att issue. Dropping is after 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm mostly. My neighbor has the same issue at the same time. I asked for a log error that att should have so they can see if there is a problem in our neighbor, but customer service do not answer or don’t want to talk about it. I am considering migrate from att .

I too am having fiber connection randomly drop. There are other posts as well with the same exact issue. I am 99% sure it is the NBS fiber optic router. I had this problem with cable and I bought a Motorola modem that had a good reputation for not dropping connection and it worked perfectly. Unfortunately there aren’t many choices for fiber modems. AT&T can do all the checking, updates they want, and you can unplug/plug the router constantly and tie not going to change I believe. I wish Motorola made fiber modems.

Thanks for your help and comments. But my account and the house next are having the same internet intermittently interruption at the same time si ce last Wednesday March 1rst, mostly after 6 pm . After more than a year we never have had this kind of dropping internet. I’m confident it is an AT&T issue . I don’t know what to do to get AT&T service addressing this problem.

Thanks to Aminah, she called me yesterday and checked the fiber network. Later on she explained what she found. I appreciate her time and work to investigate what is going on with dropping internet several times during the day every day.
She said “ it is known issue that affect several customers, that they have technicians working on it, but that they don’t have an estimate resolution date at the moment. That there is nothing more than they can do at this time. “
It is very sad as a customer, to have and to no have internet along the day and on top of that you no have an estimated date of resolution.
Don’t we deserve a better answer than close you eyes and dry swallow than some day it will be fixed.?
Thank again to Aminah assistance but I don’t like the uncertainty Of one day, or one week or one month or whenever.
