How to identify wires on the utility pole
Hi,
I've had ATT fiber for a couple of years and I'm very satisfied.
When it was installed, the 2 thick telephone wires from the pole to my home were removed and a single sleek new fiber cable was installed. Great!
What I'd like to know is how to identify by sight the various wires on the utility pole. I don't need help with the electric service wires, there's lots on the web about them.
I see where the fiber wire is connected. I see where our unused comcast coax wire is connected. (It seems that comcast has the lowest set of wires on the pole. They are also the thickest, most poorly organized and ugliest).
I don't remember where the old copper phones wires were attached.
I guess my question is where are the plain old telephone wires?
Thanks for any web pointers you may be aware of.

Depending on how many tenants there are on the pole. Bottom set of wires is At&t. Anything in between att and power are tenants as well

Interesting.
I thought that the cable with the D shaped bends put in it was fiber optic. As I labeled the photo "F". That must be the comcast wires. Maybe they switched to fiber when they went to xfinity?
The bottom cable sure looks like it has plenty of copper, so that's must be the POT service. Where is the AT&T fiber cable? Is it in that mess somewhere?

Follow F to the left of the pole.... shiny metal rectangle with coax connections hanging straight down is the local cable company.
Immediate below on left side of pole is the aerial fiber terminal that is disconnected on one side.... has an address on the other side of the white rectangle. Should lok closer to this...
The bigger black rectangle box on the right side of the pole (near label C) is the aerial copper terminal with several copper wire drops connected.

You can't attach anything to a utility pole.

Yeah I found out the wires belong to att and are for cable and internet I would like to just add a couple street lights that are solar and would in no way interfere with anything on or around what's there.

It's illegal to put ANYTHING on a utility pole. Period.
