Fiber internet constantly dropping

I am at my wits end with this.  I have had service since Aug 9th of this year.  First they accidentally cancelled my service because installer did not close ticket.  Five days to get my service back on.  Then my service went out completely after another month.  They first told me I needed a new gateway.  Received the new gateway.  Installed it and it would not activate.  Do the tech chat again…now they say it is the line.  Schedule an appointment for 4 days later.  Wait all day tech never shows. They let me know at 11pm that they would not get to me that day.  Finally 2 days letter tech comes out.  Turns out someone unplugged me in the fiber box down the street probably while installing someone else.  Get that figured out.  Internet constantly dropping like every 20 minutes.  Another tech comes out.  Checks everything.  Checks my mesh system everything set up fine.  He assures me my problems are over.   Still dropping connection 20 times a day if not more.  So I have had 4 techs, 4 boxes and terrible service.  I have tried calling support, but all that does is make me madder.  Every time they run a test or I run a test with the app every this is just fine.  Looks like it is back to Xfinity if I can’t get this solved.

It probably won’t get solved. I’ve had similar issues and it’s gotten worse as time has passed. It has gone from them trying to help to blaming me for my internet problems. Unfortunately I switched to a slower cable service and it works so much better. I enjoyed my service when it worked, but it didn’t work often. Good luck and hope it gets resolved for you.

Well I had to cancel fiber and go back to Xfinity.  I asked att to send out a tech to check outside lines and they told me it would cost $99…ah NO.  I had this service for 2 months with non stop issues.  Took me two minutes to set my Xfinity back up.  Gateway Fed Exed the next day self install took less than 5 minutes and I am back to flawless internet.  Don’t get me wrong Xfinity are no saints but their internet works great.
