If your sure need to call 800-288-2020 to schedule a tech appointment for missing connection.
To be able to perform a fiber self install the address had to have fiber internet previously. Perhaps the last person removed the equipment when moving out or it is a less exposed location such as closet, basement, etc.
If rental perhaps the jack and / or ONT was removed during cleaning / renovation.
