current firmware version of the bgw210-700?

1. What is the current firmware version of the bgw210-700?

2. And how often does this update to a new version?

3. I keep seeing my modem reboot itself every day or two. Could a firmare update be causing this?

We made it 5 days with a brand new 320, then the same reset occurred out of nowhere. The refurb rebooted once a day.  Both devices run the same

version of firmware, so I suspect that might be the common thread.  ATT doesn't have a clue as to the root cause.

We're going to put a smart plug behind it and power cycle the box in the wee hours of the morning every day.

well, hawkeye, we too, exactly 5 days into the "new" (refurb) 210 router, it reboot out of nowhere, which caused a pretty big interruption in a live webcast I was doing for about 5 minutes. Looks like this new router doesn't hold the answer.

What was the number of NAT sessions at the time of reboot?

Just posting here that I am seeing the same issue. 210 router and this started around mid-December 2022. I would venture to say 3.20.5 is the culprit. Same observances - router simply reboots, while I'm working from home. :(

Anyway, chatted with support on 1/5/23 and they said there was an upload speed issue on the router/line and they sent a special reboot command to resolve. It was fine until another reboot Monday morning. Of course, even though I asked them to check back in 24 hours, they did not. So, I will probably have to chat again and ask them to troubleshoot...again.

Hopefully they push a new firmware very soon. :)

Thanks.

so, AT&T dispatched a tech given the continued issues of rebooting router, as expected, the line was fine, but the tech went ahead and replaced my OAT box and gave me a new-never used 210 router with 2.17.5 firmware for now, and really wishing I could block the OTA update that I'm sure it'll download overnight. So let's see how long until the random reboots start back up.

interesting development- my "new" router did update overnight from 2.17.5 but it didn't go to 3.20.5, rather upgraded to 3.18.5... have they downgraded after all the 3.20.5 issues?

I was at 3.18.5 and I was having the issue unfortunately. Hopefully you will not.

Still running 3.20.5 and my gateway rebooted again this morning. Chatted again and a tech is coming out this afternoon to take a look. The latest rep detected 'a line issue'.

Well I have noticed the same issue here, router/modem random reboots. I am debating if it's worth calling support after reading the posts here. Seems it is a widespread issue with no resolution
