Box in Neighbors Yard who is out of town

Our internet is out at the AT&T service guy said our box is in the neighbors yard they can’t access. My neighbor has been out of town going on a week and more and so I’ve had no internet access in sight. What can I do? I’m about to cancel my internet and move to another provider.

If the gate is locked, maybe try asking other neighbors if they have a key or a way you can contact the absent neighbor. If that doesn't work and you don't want to do something legally questionable like cutting the lock yourself, there isn't much else that can be done except to wait for them to come home. Your neighbor shouldn't be preventing access to the easement but unfortunately it does happen.

Hi @Icedamericana, we understand the inconvenience that you're going through. We're here to help!

We recommend that you check when your neighbor is available so that we can sort this out. Without permission from you neighbor, we can't make changes to anything on their property.

You can manage your repair appointment once your neighbor is back in town.

Hope this helps! Please feel free to reach out to us for further assistance.
