I generally never power down my modem. I know in a lot of cases firmware pushes come at initial connect. Just wanted to make sure I'm getting updates when I should. Is there a push schedule? Should I power cycle once a month? I just want to follow best practices.

We understand that you have questions related to your routing updating @naterutland.
As the Ace Stated that is automatic. Restarting the gateway will also help with making sure that your update is current.
Please let us know if that helps.

I bought BGW320-505 on amazon and wanted to upgrade the firmware to 2.14.4, too. It's still on 2.6.5. How do I upgrade manually? The above link needs some credentials, what could I use? (device id, password, device access code?) I tried the Home Manager App, but it's unavailable in my region (Europe).
Thank you.

Yes, but I'm not really using it. I'm just trying to test/evaluate it.
I've found out that it is possible to upgrade the router manually, just need the binary, the actual file. Is it possible to obtain this binary offline? download it from somewhere?

Of course not it’s AT&T proprietary data they won’t support your modem since it’s a stolen modem and your not a customer

I purchased it here https://www.amazon.com/802-11a-Wireless-ax-Integrated-Residential-Replaces/dp/B08PCRYJPW
Are you suggesting that Amozon is selling stolen devices?

AT&T leases modems they don’t sell them therefore any purchased modems are AT&T property

So what would AT&T suggest me do? I can still contact this Tech Candy Inc. Maybe they have some customer contract with AT&T and help me get the binary.

AT&T only updates through their network AT&T will not release any binary software to the public
