AT&T 2G Service with BGW320-500 5G port - 5/2.5/1 support with ASUS AX11000 2.5G Primary WAN port?

Hello,

1: Had AT&T 1G service connected to AX11000 for years now. (uVerse Residential router)

2: Upgraded to AT&T 2G service (BGW320-505) with 5G port (5/2.5/1) connected to ASUS AX11000.

3: The ASUS Primary WAN port is 2.5G. Can't get this to connect as 2.5G. It ONLY works as 1G

4: Is this a AT&T issue or a ASUS issue? Is ASUS AX11000 2.5G Primary WAN port neg with AT&T BGW320 @ 2.5G?

5: Does AT&T support "WAN Aggregation combines two network connections to increase your WAN speed up to 2Gbps"

    i.e does it support "LACP-IEEE 802.3ad"

Run gateway diagnostics to see if the 2.5g port is working correctly. Is the device you are testing with capable of greater than 1g speeds?  If no, not an asus or att caused issue. If yes, contact Asus. Att does not offer Wan aggregation.

Your ASUS 2.5 should connect at 2.5 GHz but it may take a few try. Please review the ASUS support documentation for your ASUS AX11000.

Make sure you are using a good quality Cat6 cable the is properly terminated and the you have both controllers set to auto detect And no you can't as @browndk26 indicated WAN Aggregation is NOT supported.

I would restart both routers to Factory defaults and try again. Might be time to upgrade your third-party router or just use the BGW320 for your initial testing.
