Termination due to Copyright Infringement

My service was terminated. When I called to inquire why, I was told it was due to copyright infringement activities. How can I rectify this situation? I received a notice a while back on this topic so I changed my internet password to ensure it could not be used by others. I was under the impression the issue was resolved.
