DNS errors, slow browsing
For the last week, our internet has been unpredictable. There are certain sites we can't navigate to at all, but we have no problem streaming to our TV. For example, I get a DNS error when I try to navigate to hpsmart.com, but I can access Facebook without trouble. I've reset my gateway several times, and someone changed something when I called a 1.800 number, although I'm not sure what. This problem affects all devices in the house (other than the TV.) Sometimes a page that we can access is unusually slow to load.

We can help you improve your slow browsing experience @laurenwlutz. We understand the impact of the DNS error on your browsing experience.
To clear the DNS error message, follow the steps below
1. Clear cookies and cache.
2. Open the internet connections troubleshooter by pressing Windows + I to open the settings app, and click on troubleshoot on the right.
3. Change the DNS Server, press Windows + S to launch the run command, enter ncpa.cpl in the text field, and click OK.
4. Flush the DNS.
5. Restart the Network Stack.
Also check and download new updates for your internet browsers.
Finally, we suggest you connect your gateway and devices with an ethernet cable for a more stable internet connection. That may help improve your browsing speed.
Please let us know if this helps.

I tried this and it did not help. This seems to happen with music and YouTube sites more than others, although all have degraded response time during the last 3 months. We have a 2.5GB connection through a wired interface on the ATT Gateway.
