Dare I ask? Why is Fiber Being Throttled?

I noted when we had a "speed" issue before and the tech called in from our home that whom ever he spoke with

adjusted the speed.. and did an oops when he went to 900mbps and backed it (the speed) down to 600 area...

as if the speed was being throttled?

One would assume no way one will get 1000mbps ... but 900 and below shouldn't be impossible given our

geographical location.  Instead we began to get sporadic speeds mostly under 400mbps and I question that

as browsing has slowed down. If you download a small video to test it takes forever.   

 

I thought I'd come here and post before inviting our Local Houston News Media in to view what we signed up for vs

what we actually get on ATT Fiber Optic Connection.

PLEASE FIX and get our speed at least back in the 600mbps area.

The online reboot is just repetition of steps I took before I decided to get vocal.  I unplug all other LAN and I know

no one but I, if I decide to use, is on the ATT Gateway  AC's Wireless 5.  The low speed is off as no one uses.

I am getting tired of this as well. Every time I test my connection after complaining it goes back up 700-900mbits symmetrical. After a week, I go back to almost exactly 50mbits for download.. this is clearly throttling. Fix it!
