What do I disconnect when installing the new ATT cell booster
I have Att uverse. Am I to disconnect the small black WPS device and get rid of it ? I did this and the booster worked great but then I lost all TV connection. What device am I to disconnect and get rid of but still keep my uverse Tv working. I’m most likely not disconnecting the correct box. Was on att chat for over 3 hours and they couldn’t understand my one simple question.

You shouldn't have to disconnect anything on the Uverse receiver if there is an unused ethernet port. Did you re-connect what ever you disconnected to get your Uverse back?
It should be connected the same way the MicroCell was connected.

Reconnected and got my uverse /tv service restored. Can you describe what the microcell looked like ?
I currently do not have any available Ethernet ports to plug in the new booster.

You have 4 yellow ports on the Gateway. The Cell Booster will need to plug into one of them, or into a Switch that is in turn plugged into one of them. What is currently plugged into the 4 yellow ports?

@JefferMC Thanks for the help with the Uverse gateway. That's out of my area. The question about what the MicroCell looked like has me a bit baffled tho.

@JKLewis54 Yes. The black MicroCell was the DPH-154, the last iteration of the MicroCell and was made by Cisco. The new femtocell is the Cell Booster made by Nokia.
