Microcell deactivated

Att Microcell is needed in our area due to lack of cell towers.   Have used for 7 years with no issue.

This year because we did not return within 6 months, it was deactivated by ATT.

Still need as only get 1-2 bars service.

Cannot find how to reactivate.

Any suggestions

The MicroCell sent out messages months ago asking folks to re-activate their accounts if they still needed the MicroCell because there was no activity detected by AT&T.

The MicroCell service will be terminated no later than Feb. 2022, possibly earlier,  once AT&T re-purposes their 3G network. It is pointless at this point in time to try to reactivate the MicroCell because the myAT&T MicroCell Settings page has been down for months, and it is unlikely that AT&T will spend time and money to fix it because the MicroCell is a product that they no longer sell and will very soon no longer support.

WiFi-C (WiFi Calling) is what we and AT&T recommend now if your phone is capable. Otherwise your only other options are to purchase a cellular booster (see my Cellular Booster Guide) or switch carriers.
