Unlock request denied despite meeting all eligibility requirements
I paid my phone off early and waited 48 hours before submitting an unlock request using the IMEI number as I have transferred my number to another carrier. It was denied and says "Make sure your device meets our eligibility requirements." I went to an AT&T store and they said it meets the requirements. After retrying multiple times, it said I had to wait 30 days before trying again. I called customer service and they put in a ticket and after two days it was resolved. I submit another unlock request and it was again denied and says to wait 30 days before retrying. The device is an Apple iPhone 13 Pro.

File an FCC complaint. The complaint is forwarded to att upper management and someone will contact you

I filed an FCC complaint and within two days received a phone call from AT&T Executive Office. The representative was able to unlock the phone in only a couple of minutes. This works!
