unlock request but says pending

I submit an unlock request but says pending even I did not received any e-mail to confirm. and do I need to confirm? I thought I will only receive unlocking instructions? Thank you in advance for your answer.

Yes, you needed to confirm.  The request won’t complete without confirmation, and will just sit there in pending until it eventually cancels itself.

As @dwill05 already shared, you will need to confirm an unlock request via email. Since you have checked your Inbox for that message, you will want to also check your other folders such as Junk or Spam. It's likely that message could have been directed to any other file in your email.

Try this and let us know how it goes. If your mobile equipment meets the device unlock eligibility requirements including having been active on the AT&T network for at least 60 days, then there may be something that we can do on our end to assist with your unlock request.

@ATTHelp, thank you for your reply, but unfortunately it seems there is an error either to the mailing system or my e-mail itself. I received this notification in my e-mail, but not the e-mail for the unlock request. I am already thinking of requesting another one with a different e-mail, as I look in all my folders and do not find the confirmation e-mail that I am suppose to receive.

Hi edongski0206, we want to help you with your device unlock request. We want to get you in a Direct Message (DM), check the message icon in the upper portion of the page and reply back. 

 

In the meantime, it may take up to 48 hours to approve your unlock request if done online. Let us know if you have checked your spam/junk folder for the confirmation email and if you are a current/former AT&T customer as we need to verify your account to unlock your AT&T device on our end. 

 

For non AT&T customers, we recommend reaching out to the reseller to perform the unlock request or wait for the pending request to clear out from the system to submit another one.
