Unlock AT&T iPhone to any carrier

Hello AT&T Community,

I hope this message finds you well. I have an iPhone 13 Pro Max that I purchased in Pakistan, and it is currently locked to AT&T. I am reaching out to request an unlock for this device.

I would like to use it with a different carrier. Since I did not purchase this iPhone through AT&T and do not have an AT&T account, I kindly request your assistance in unlocking it so that I can use it with another carrier (Pakistan Carrier).

Your support in this matter is greatly appreciated. Please let me know if any additional information is required, and I will provide it as needed.

Best regards,
Hamza.

www.att.com/deviceunlock

Since you are out of the US, it may not work.

If it happens to allow you to use the website, apply for the unlock as a non customer.

If that doesn't work, you are out of luck.

Hi @Hamza_shafiq, we want to guide you through the right path.

Since you are looking to unlock your device and choose the AT&T service, we recommend you to contact your carrier from where you purchased your phone and get the device unlocked and, contact AT&T to set up an account.

Please click on the link Get a Free AT&T Email Address - AT&T Email Customer Support (att.com) for more details.

@Dominic, if the OP wanted to use AT&T, he wouldn’t need to unlock a phone that’s locked to AT&T, so your answer makes no sense.  Also, since he’s in Pakistan, and wants to unlock a phone that’s locked to AT&T so he can use it with a local carrier, the chance that he’s interested in getting an AT&T account is zero.

Hi @Hamza_shafiq, we're here to help!

Please contact the owner of the device who have purchased from AT&T and get the phone unlocked, post which you will be able to use the sim cards from different service provider.

Hi Dominic, thanks for your answer. However, I've already mentioned that I purchased this device from a mobile shop, and I don't know the original owner. Even the shopkeeper is unaware of the real owner, as he acquired devices in bulk for selling. The device I bought has a clean blacklisted status. I am in Pakistan, and I do not have an AT&T number. Could you please guide me on how I can contact the support team to unlock my device?

@hamza_shafiq   Have you tried the unlocking portal linked in the unlocking portal?  That is the only way to unlock the phone.  Repeatedly asking on this forum won’t get it done.  Use the portal, but be aware that if the phone isn’t eligible for unlocking, AT&T can’t help you.
