Trade in issues
We traded in a perfectly good Samsung S8 in early November 2021 for a change to an Apple product. The trade in promised a rebate of $300.00. We were told when AT&T received it the screen was damaged and unusable which was not the case when we sent it. We only received 35.00 and we have spent hours on chat and phone trying to resolve this. They admitted the phone was ok and there was a mistake and they keep promising it will be fixed on our bill but there is yet to be the amount of money we were promised back on our account. This seems to be a scam since it is now April of 2022. Can this please be resolved?

Unless ATTHelp responds and offers to help, no one else here has access to your account. Suggest you escalate to corporate by filing an FCC or BBB complaint. The complaint will result in someone from corporate contacting you.

Oh ok, thank you. I have no idea how to do any of that, but I guess I am the one that will have to figure that out during my valuable free time. It really is unfair I have had to waste so much time already because their third party trade-in rebate center are not honest. I have been a good customer for a long time and this makes me feel used and unimportant and also challenges my faith in these large companies. I will have to switch if they don't resolve this well. Any helpful hints to file these documents easily/efficiently would be appreciated. Thank you for your time.
